Connect Datadog in minutes
Datadog connects via API key with read-only access. You can set up the integration through the Resolve AI UI, through the Satellite configuration, or both. Alert webhooks let Datadog monitors trigger investigations automatically.
Create your API key and App key
In Datadog, create both an API key and an App key. For each one, click + New Key, name it resolve, click Create Key, and copy the value to use in the next step.
Connect via the Resolve AI UI
Open the Datadog integration in Resolve AI, click Add Connection, and enter a name (e.g. Datadog-Main). Leave Environments blank to ingest data from all environments, or list specific ones that match your Satellite config. Paste your API key and App key, enter your site domain (e.g. datadoghq.com or datadoghq.eu), and optionally enable Sensitive Data Redaction. Turn on Service Map Enabled and click Save.

Set up alert webhooks
To route Datadog monitor alerts to Resolve AI automatically, open the Datadog integration in Resolve AI and click Edit. Under Webhooks, click + to create a new token, name it Monitors, and save. Then open the Datadog Webhooks Integration in a second tab, click + New, and copy the fields from the Resolve AI configuration page. Finally, open each Datadog monitor, click Edit, and add @webhook-resolveai to the notifications field. For teams managing monitors with Terraform, add @webhook-resolveai to each monitor's Message field instead.
