Real-world production systems are dynamic and complex. Addressing common production engineering concerns like incident troubleshooting, cloud operations, security and compliance involves painfully piecing together information from many teams and multiple different tools (code, telemetry, CICD, infrastructure, paging, chat, etc). These tools were not designed to work together, pushing the complexity on humans and consuming the majority of their time.

At Resolve AI, we're tackling these operational bottlenecks by building the first AI that automates software operations. Our AI Production Engineer builds a deep understanding of production systems and tools, combined with state-of-the-art agentic AI, to autonomously troubleshoot and resolve production issues, significantly reducing Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) and freeing engineers to focus on building. We aim to auto-resolve over 80% of alerts and incidents without human intervention.

Our vision is to transform how engineers build, deploy, and maintain real-world software systems by allowing them to operate at a higher level of abstraction, overseeing AI that runs production systems. Looking ahead, we envision expanding to additional tasks that require deep understanding of source code and production—like incident prevention, cloud infrastructure management, bug fixes, testing, and more.

While we're off to a great start, many exciting challenges lie ahead. Enhancing our AI's reasoning abilities, expanding its capabilities to handle increasingly complex tasks, and training models to deal with a growing number of tools are areas we are actively working on. We are always interested to meet with individuals who are excited about solving hard problems in AI, Systems and UX.

FOUNDERS

Spiros and Mayank met 20 years ago in grad school at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and have been working together since 2012. Between them, they founded three companies and had two successful exits to Splunk and VMware. They have built multiple products from scratch and co-created OpenTelemetry. Most recently, they led Splunk Observability as GM and Chief Architect, respectively. They are building towards a future in which AI and software drive accelerated technological advancement and improve our lives
